Theatre producing can be a wild and scary world. It is hard to be in charge of a show or company, especially if you have no idea where to start! Trust me, I know.

During your consultation, I will help guide you through whatever you would like to know about producing theatre. Want some thoughts on a project or production idea? Want to know how to build a budget? Build an audience? Get a grant? Want to know how to bring your production to the next level? These are the sorts of topics available to you, but the time is yours!

Not only do I have eight years of professional and indie theatre producing experience, I am also an award-winning theatre producing instructor - having run Theatre by the Bay’s celebrated Indie Producer’s Co-op program for more than six years.

Please note:

• Please purchase the number of hours you would like through the number of ‘stock’ you buy. How this time is divided (ie. all at once, over multiple sessions) can be determined by Iain and yourself, but is subject to availability.

• Group sessions are acceptable, but you must be a group of no more than 3 and from the same group/organization.

• While Iain agrees to some level of transparency, Iain is allowed to deny answers to specific questions judged on a case by case basis.
